So, it’s been a little over a month since I started my new job, and it feels so weird not being a student anymore. I feel like I’m in “forever-student” mode. I loved having my own free time, waking in the afternoon 20 minutes before class started, and staying up in the wee hours of the night trying to pull an all-nighter. Those days are long gone… Now don’t get me wrong. My boss and future boss are awesome! I actually love working with them because they are so enthusiastic in having me learn something new everyday. Who I dislike… is my coworker. He’s such a lazy-ass and doesn’t do jack shit anymore ever since I started working. UGH! GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUM! And he’s so hairrrrrrrrrrrrrrry. I can’t stop looking at his gorilla arms. Bah!
Sigh, I guess I just can’t have it all, can I?
……. Work just gets me started on a whole different subject. I never thought I would be the one to wake up at 5am and be in bed by 10 pm. Who would have thunk it? I used to never sleep before midnight because everyone knows that’s when the party really starts. Now I know why everyone loves happy hour and why everyone keeps chuggin’ along until Friday. You don’t even know the TRUE meaning of TGIF until you start to work. …….Who else feels old?

Why is losing so damn hard but winning so easy? I’ve been struggling with keeping 10 pounds off, and it’s like trying to climb Mount Everest. Basically impossible.
I promise.. Starting today.. No soft drinks and no fast food. For real!

I wonder what life would be like if I had a remote control so I could rewind or fast-forward whenever. That would be like playing God, and I’m sure He wouldn’t be too happy with me. Dang it.

I went into work today and ran into a regular who has been coming in for almost 3 years now; she offered me a job! Ah! I feel like everything is just falling into place! I can’t wait! I guess this really is my year…. I am a dragon after all.

The house next door has been fixing their roof for the past 3 days.. Their days start at 6am. I wonder if they know that my day doesn’t start until 12pm.

Go watch Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn. It’s so cute… Like a typical Korean drama plot. Still gotta love it.
